Reservations:  Reserve your room by calling 1-800-360-2242.  Tell them that you are with KiScon 2004.

Rates:  The convention offers a special rate of $79 per night plus 13% tax, regardless of the number of people in the room.

The special rate will also be available to anyone who attends KiScon 2004 but wants to come in early and leave late, in order to sample the delights of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.  From Monday, March 22, 2004 through Friday, April 2, 2004, room rates for you will be $79 per night plus tax.

Reservations must be made by March 12, 2004 to qualify for the special rate.  All reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card or a first night room deposit.  Cancellations must be made by 6 p.m. on the arrival date;  if you cancel, make sure you get the cancellation number.

Rooms:  The hotel is four stories with 409 rooms.  All rooms include remote control cable television with HBO and pay per view movies, clock radios, voice mail, computer data ports, high speed internet access, large work desks, irons and ironing boards, electronic door locks, coffee makers and hairdryers.  In other words, what you would expect from a modern, up-to-date hotel in a major metropolitan area.

Convention Rooms:  Our spacious con suite is on the fourth floor directly opposite the elevators.  The con meeting rooms are on the first floor on the right side of the hotel.

Transportation:  The hotel is just two miles south of the Dallas Fort Worth Airport, and they have great, free shuttle service to and from the airport.

When you arrive at the airport, go to the luggage areas and collect your bags.  Then go to the Hotel Courtesy Phone that is located in each terminal near each luggage area.  Dial #187.  That will connect you with the hotel.  Tell them you need a ride and identify where you are by reading from the small sign that's next to each Hotel Courtesy Phone.  That way they'll know where to go to pick you up.

The DFW airport property is larger than the island of Manhatten, so even though the hotel is located just two miles southwest of the south airport entrance, the ride will take about ten minutes.  The wait should not be long, on average ten or fifteen minutes, as the hotel operates the shuttles all the time.

If you're driving, check out the directions at the hotel's website at  http://www.holiday-inn.com/dfw-airports.
